| Abstract: | In this paper, many aspects of the energy dissipation in cushion pool are reviewed, containing the flow patterns, methods for calculating hydraulic parameter, dispersion of nappe in cushion pool, velocity distribution, pressure distribution, and dynamic pressure. The methods for calculating hydraulic parameters and factors are suggested. The results proposed in this paper can be applied to the design in engineering. |
