Abstract:As a key equipment of energy supply for an electric vehicle, the structure design of a power battery pack should meet the needs of bearing capacity, safety and reliability of operation as well as service life under different moving environments and traveling conditions.The paper presents an experimental method of simulative vibration for a power battery pack under an equivalent actual load. A series of vibration tests will be performed using three axial controlling parameters. And a series of tests for continuous discharge features during vibration exciting also will be performed. The test results should indicate that all parts of the power battery pack do not induce failures of electric function and any dynamic displacement of the construction as well as mechanical wear of the parts.The present work will provide some useful data to service as an accumulation of dynamic response and a basis of the vibration characteristics for power battery pack.
