| Abstract: | In this paper,a successful practice case of soil mixing wall that is used to timber the deep foundation pit by construction diaphragm wall is comprehensively presented. For a deep foundation pit with high level of underground water, the seepage always leads to slope instability. An effective method, called soil mixing wall ,can be used to avoid this instability. |
