| Abstract: | A number of gross error detection techniques are
widely applied in different chemical processes.However,their performances have not always
been so satisfactory.For example,the low probability of type I error always causes the
high are of type Ⅱ error.Here,a compound test with
high confidence level(HCL test)is presented in this paper,which has a low percentage of
both two types of errors.Moreover,a practical example based on real process data is
provided and a comparison with other tests proves that the new method is quite effective. |
