| Abstract: | This paper introduces the advantages and disadvantages of using expanding screen, the structure of expanding screen and the mechanisms of sand control. Successful applications in three wells in Xijiang Oilfield show that using expanding screens can reduce skin factor and increase well producing capacity. |
