| Abstract: | Focusing on the status quo of Chinese cities and architectural developments, this paper brings forward eight design concepts: environment, industry, history, culture, capacity, nature, facility and equity. With supporting examples of cities in China and other countries, the author goes on to discuss more about these eight concepts in hopes of promoting Chinese city development levels and provide feasible guidance for construction practice. |
