| 摘 要： | 基于数字图像处理和模式识别技术的汽车牌照自动识别技术是汽车牌照识别系统的关键技术。研究汽车牌照定位和字符分割技术，实现了汽车牌照图像的预处理、基于水平投影和垂直投影算法的汽车牌照定位和基于垂直投影特征值分割算法的汽车牌照字符分割。实验结果表明，该算法能有效快速定位汽车牌照和准确分割汽车牌照字符。
