Two measures of the facilitative conditions: A correlation study.

45 counselor trainees were rated by coached clients using the Barrett-Lennard Relationship Inventory and by trained judges using the Truax rating scales. Correlation coefficients between the measures of empathy, warmth, genuineness and the total scores were not significant at the .05 level. Reasons for the results are discussed.
