| Abstract: | The low-pressure casting process and die design for automobile housing were introduced. The low-pressure casting process includes rising pressure and velocity, pouring pressure and velocity, pouring temperature, crystallizing pressure, and holding time of molten metal and so on. The die design includes mold thickness, size of cavity and the core of mold, and 3D modeling of the die engineering drawings. |
