Abstract:Damping system represents the overall energy consumption characteristics of a structure system.The identification of damping system type is the premise of choosing structural dynamic analysis method,and is also the basis to ensure the correctness of structural aseismic analysis results.The identification of soil-structure interaction(SSI)damping system under dynamic action is usually based on material properties,it is lack of basic scientific research.Here,based on the most basic judging method of damping system,by means of shaking table model tests of large-scale SSI system,the consistency of dynamic characteristics of different parts of SSI system under dynamic action and the continuity of the system’s motion state at solid-structure interface were examined.SSI damping system and its change law under different dynamic actions were studied.The results showed that under certain conditions,SSI system can reveal obvious classical energy-dissipating characteristics,and be expressed as an approximate classical damping system.
