Abstract: | The bonding material H3BO3-ZnO was used to form a composite with fiberglass mats. The composite is formed by hot-pressing at 180°C and is then heat-treated for durability. The bonding material becomes liquid during hot-pressing. Heat treatment promotes the reaction between H3BO3 and ZnO and converts the bonding phase to a primarily amorphous state containing a small amount of crystalline material. |
