Abstract:This paper presents a novel IoT-aware smart parking system based on the jointly use of different technologies,such as RFID,WSN,NFC,and mobile commucation.It is able to collect,in real time,both environmental parameters and information about the occupancy state of parking spaces.To reduce the system costs,the possibility to use a solar RFID tag as cars’detection system has been analyzed.In addition,a software application based on static Java and Google cloud messaging technology is installed to manage alert events.In order to prove that this scheme can meet the actual needs of innovative intelligent parking system,a feasible detection solution for solar label is proposed.
