Abstract: | We have developed physicochemical approaches to processing of arsenic-containing nonferrous metals industry waste with the use of sulfuric acid stripping followed by electrochemical arsenic extraction. Our results indicate the possibility of producing crude and high-purity arsenic; metallic zinc; and Sn, Pb, Sb, Cd, and Cu concentrates. A combined process has been developed for the preparation of 99.9999%-pure arsenic. |
