Phase Equilibria in the System Li₂O-Cr₂O₃-SiO₂

Abstract:	The system Li₂O-Cr₂O₃–SiO₂ contains one previously reported ternary compound, LiCrSi₂O₆. Six subsolidus compatibility triangles and six ternary invariant points were located. The highest solidus, temperature is 1283°C, but liquidus temperatures are much higher for many compositions.
