FPGA器件USB接口扩展方法

摘    要:由于实现USB接口需要占用较多的FPGA资源,一般FPGA器件不包含USB接口.使用Cypress公司推出的EZ-USB FX2芯片CY7C68013A,对FPGA器件扩展USB接口的硬件接口电路设计、相关软件设计方法、调试方法及实测波形进行了研究与实验.结果表明, 文中介绍的方法实现了PC通过USB接口到FPGA的高速数据传输.

Abstract:As USB interface takes away a large part of the capacity, FPGA devices are usually designed not to contain a USB port. This paper presents a creative approach to the extension of a USB port in FPGA devices, which includes the interface design, the debugging methods and the measured waveform. The approach introduced is illustrated through a discussion of the USB interface extension in EZ-USB FX2/CY7C68013A generated by by Cypress. The experiment results confirms the effectiveness of the approach in realizing the transfer of data from a PC to FPGA with a USB interface.
