China is now facing a crucial period that industrialization is accelerated and great changes have taken place in the economic structure and the other aspects of the whole society.Under this circumstance,in the renewal of city appearance,we counter not only the problem of quite an amount of material aging combined with functional recession in the past,but also the problem of the heritage and preservation of the traditional human environment and historical & cultural environment.Therefore,we shall,targeting the aim in a longer term and from a more overall view,learn the advanced foreign experience and take the lessons in order to enhance the city functions,adjust the city structure,improve the city environment,replacement of facilities and achieve the city progress.
