Cooperation between the loss of excitation protection and limitation of transmission power in generators

Comprehensive analyzing of the problems needed to be considered in the generator loss of excitation protection selling, the generator low exciting limit curve setting principle and the setting process, it is realized the object of security and setting value optimization. The paper analyzes the limitation of transmission power to the generators and researches the cooperation principle and relation among the generator limitation of transmission power, the generator low excitation limitation and the generator loss of excitation protection. Taking lhe example of one set of 600MW, generators, the paper, according to practical statistics, presents the cooperation relation between the loss of excitation protection and other limilation conditions and the rules during the debugging process and practical setting to ensure the security and stability operation of the units.
