第九次节能工作会议后，冶金工业掀起了节能降耗的新高潮。各企业都从本单位 实际出发，狠抓节能降耗工作，节能增效成绩显著。大中型钢铁生产企业全年节能３５０万ｔ标煤，超 出１９９７年初冶金工作会议确定的全行业节能３００万ｔ目标。创造效益２８亿元。

Review of the Development of Energy Saving Working of Large and Median-sized Iron and Steel Enterprises

After the Ninth Energy Saving Conference, a new upsurge of en- ergy saving and consumption decreasing was set off in the metallurgical industry. Based on the practice of every enterprise, the working energy saving and consump- tion decreasing was carried out. The effects of energy saving and benefits obtained are significant. 3. 5 million tons of standard coal were saved in the whole year in the large and median-sized enterprise. The figure exceeds theenergy saving goal (3 mil- lion tons) determined for the industry in the metallurgical working conference early 1997. Benefits of 2800 million yuan (RMB) were obtained.
