Abstract:With the commercial promotion of 5G SA network and the rapid increase of users, the packet service experience of 5G users had been improved a lot compared with 4G. However, due to the immature VONR technology, the current 5G SA voice service still need EPS fallback to VoLTE. At the present stage, EPS fallback still has some problems, such as low connection rate, long connection delay and so on, which seriously affect the experience of 5G users. Through exploring and studying the key concerns that affect the experience of EPS fallback service, this topic summarized a series of customized optimization solution for various scenarios which had been verified in living network, and took the effective improvement of experience of 5G users for EPS fallback service.
