| 摘 要： | 抑制作为一种语言理解过程中的认知加工机制,在词汇、句子、段落或篇章等不同语言理解层面上都发挥着至关重要的作用。本文试图通过对不同的语言理解模块和语言理解激活通达模型的介绍,分析抑制机制在词汇水平的作用方式。依托英语词汇中常见的同形/同音歧义词,尝试解析抑制机制在语言理解过程中不同的抑制效应。

| Abstract: | As a cognitive processing mechanism, suppression plays a key role in language under- standing at vocabulary, sentence, paragraph or chapter levels. This paper tries to analyze how suppression functions at vocabulary level via the introductions to different models of language understanding and activation and access. In the meantime, the effect of suppression is explored on the discussion of understanding different forms of English homonyms. |
