"微机系统"课程教学体系改革

摘    要:“微机系统”课程目前的教学体系已经不再适应微机技术的发展。原有的教学体系无法使学生理解386以上体系的核心思想——在硬件级别上支持操作系统。尽管微机芯片迅速更新换代,但386体系结构的基本原理自1985年夏推出80386,到新世纪的P4仍在沿用。本文提出以MPU对操作系统的支持为主干,辅以微机硬件和操作系统的相关知识来重新整合,建立全新的“微机系统”课程体系。新的教学体系内容包括:进程和线程、高速缓存、虚拟存储器、流水线、超标量和超级流水线等先进技术。

Abstract:The teaching system of Microcomputer System now is no longer fitting to the current development of computer technology. The former teaching system failed in making the students comprehend the core ideal of computer systems uper 386, which can support operating system from hardware level. Despite the rapid upgrading of microcomputer chips, the fundamental principles of 386-system architecture are still in use from the 80386 launched in the summer of 1985 to the P4 in the new century. Here this article proposed to build a totally new teaching system of Microcomputer System. It is primarily based on the support of MPU to operating system and incorporating relevant knowledge of computer hardware and operating system. The contents of this new teaching system include many advanced technologies such as process and thread, cache, virtual memory, pipeline, superscalar and superpipeline.
