| Abstract: | A three-dimensional numerical model on lubrication of human joints is presented in this peper. A simplified constitutive equation for viscoelasic fluid are obtained from the oldroyd's 4-constant model. A comparison between numerical result for a 'long joint' by the authors and analytic result by Manohar and Nigam [4] shows that the results agree. |
