Development Policy for Digital Trunking Technologies

The development and applications of digital trunking both at home and abroad are detailed. The importance of the IPR of digital trunking is discussed. The paper brings the idea that GoTa and GT800, two digital trunking systems developed by Chinese enterprises, have laid a solid foundation for the development of Chinese digital trunking communications industry. It also holds the idea that China should develop PAMR (Public Access Mobile Radio), properly handle the relationship among the public mobile network, PAMR, and PMR (Private Mobile Radio), and actively foster a healthy trunking communication market through the accurate market positioning of the technology.
