Organomineral sorbent from Shubarkol coal

The sorption properties of an adjoining rock and its modified forms obtained by treatment with modifier solutions, including coal humic acids, were studied. The applicability of new organomineral sorbents to the extraction of copper, nickel, and calcium ions from model mineralized aqueous solutions and industrial wastewater was demonstrated. It was found that the efficiency of the test sorbents was comparable to the sorption capacity of commercial carboxylic cation-exchange resins.
