Abstract:The Torre Mayor building used seismic damper to do seismic protection firstly which was subject to the severe earthquake in 2003.Not only set up a totally new idea,an optimal configuration and installation,but also result perfect effect of reducing vibration,its design idea and method provided reference to earthquake engineering field.At last,a suggestion was put forward.
