This paper described the idea ofthe design and construction ofgreen data center, and sharedthe experience ofmain. taining about the green data center. It pointed out that the energy consumption of the data center should be controlled in terms of room construction, power systems, cooling systems, IT systems and monitoring systems for improving the PUE value of the center. Finally, it summarized the main factors involved in building green data centers, and recognized that we have long way to go to build green data centers. Under the national energy saving call, we must construct and operate the green data centers in order to oromote the healthy develot~ment of the data center market.
