The Orsay Electron Beam Ion Source |

| Abstract: | Basic parameters of the electron beam ion source (EBIS) are defined. The experimental results of the Orsay EBIS are described. We give also the design of a synchrotron source for production of fully-stripped heavy ion beams and polarized protons. |
