With the development of science and technology, and the new national measuring standards have been issued, the original software developed on the basis of the old measuring standards has already reflected some incompatibility. In order to adapt the flow measurement to keeping up with international standards and guarantee the standard software in pace with advanced standard after the accession to the WTO, it is urgent to carry on technological transformation, upgrade to mt natural gas flow standard device. This paper introduces the work principles of mt natural gas flow standard device and described in detail the processes that combining VB with database develop the measuring software.
