A Novel Method for Automated Location DNA Fingerprinting Gels' Bands

A novel method for the automated location bands resolved on agarose fingerprinting gels.This paper present a mathematical model for the location of bands according to the size of fragment.Automated identification of bands involves several steps,including:image preprocessing,to compensate for the deleterious effects in the image,there are three steps involved:denoising,image enhancement,converse to one-dimensional trace; and band auto-detection,a procedure for detecting position of bands.The task of this procedure is to auto-separate every allele band from the lane correctly.During this procedure,use a mathematical model to locate and correct the bands position.During the whole the procedure,there is a key problem to be solved,that is lanes bonding together.In this system,the 1-D trace and mathematical model are both used to settle this problem during auto-detect band and verify band steps.Shown from the result.
