| Abstract: | This paper introduces the basic principles of H-ARQ technology and its classification and then discusses its different applications in the third generation (3G) standards, e.g. WCDMA R99, HSDPA and CDMA2000. It also compares these applications with those in previous telecommunication standards. Finally this paper discusses the development and evolution of H-ARQ in future communication systems. |
