Application of Brush Plating in Petroleum Machines and Tools

This paper introduces brush plating technology, analyses the technological performance of brush platings and discusses several factors affecting the plating quality. Ni-Fe-W alloy is applied to the brush plating on these products based on the characteristics of the petroleum machines and tools. As a result, the plating performance can not only meet the technical requirements, but also its product quality and cost are superior to those of hard chromium layer used in the past.
