Abstract:In order to achieve the safety and efficiency of the deep-water drilling pipe batch installation operation, the underwater piling technology was proposed, and the feasibility of applying the technology to the installation of the deep-water drilling conductor was verified. Through the full survey and analysis of the practice of such method and technology, the critical equipment, the deepwater subsea hammer basic work mechanism, characteristics and application were introduced, the selection method of the driving hammer in deep water drilling, including the key considerations, selection principle, selection specific method and process were analyzed. It can provide technical reference for the assessment and exploration of application of this technology in South China Sea.
