| Abstract: | Cracks occured frequently on the surface of certain parts made of Cr12 type stainless steels. Based on the realization of production process of the parts, crack patterns and expanding way and so on, the mechanism of crack formation was analyzed by using simulation test. Upon this, a primary flow chart was set up to analyz the reasons why cracks would occur in the parts of Cr12 type stainless steels during quenching. |
