| Abstract: | In order to design a new type automatic sprinkler with shape memory alloy (SMA) for extinguishment, the SMA thermomechanical actuator is used as thermal sensitive actuator in automatic sprinkler. The structure and acting properties of SMA automatic sprinkler are described, and it has been analyzed and compared that the acting perferame of the SMA thermomechanical actuator with the thermal bimetallic. |
