Applying review and product metrics to the software engineering process: a case study

This paper describes the creation and initial implementation of a measurement programme to Eastman Kodak's Printer Products Division software engineering process. This measurement strategy is being applied to all appropriate programmes within the division. This case study describes one project where a simple set of metrics have improved the quality of our software products and the process used to develop the software. It describes the steps taken to create and implement, and the successes and problems encountered during software development.
