中国古代服饰文明悠久深厚,真实记录了中华民族的社会发展历程,其中包括服饰典章制度、社会习俗、技术工艺、文化审美等诸多领域的丰富资料和成就。它是一座文明的宝库,是向世界展现中华民族生生不息文化传统的一个窗口。近年来,北京服装学院不断探索中国古代服饰研究的新范式,尝试从多学科、多领域、多视角展开研究,本文即是对这项工作的述要。

Exploring Ancient Literature and Archaelogical Objects,Searching for Underlying Principles:A Summary of Ancient Costumes Research Norms Conducted in Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology

China boasts a long and rich history of ancient costumes,which is a vivid record of Chinese nation’s social development,involving abundant materials and achievements in such fields as regulations and codes of clothing,social customs,arts and crafts,as well as culture and aesthetics.It is a treasury of civilization served to demonstrate to the world the long-lasting and energetic cultural tradition of our Chinese nation.Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology has kept exploring in recent years the new norms of researching into ancient Chinese costumes,initiating multi-discipline,cross-field and multi-perspective measures.This article is to make a summary.
