| Abstract: | Total Operational Maintenance (TOM) is presented as a new thought on equipment maintenance. It focuses on the managerial ideology embedded in Quick Response, Total Production Maintenance and Supply Chain Management. And its theoretical architecture and implementation are also described. It stresses the strategic significance in strengthening competitive advantages of enterprises through optimizing operational process reliability on the basis of TOM. |
