| Abstract: | The caster is one of the widest slab casters in the world introduced from SMS - Demag. Causes of sticking breakout for the wide slab caster at Anyang Steel were analyzed. Based on those, countermeasures were put forward and taken into operation practice. After then, breakout ratio was lowered significantly. |
