Abstract: | The CAD model of engine bracket with independent intellectual property rights was established by using 3D-CAD system SolidWorks, then CAD model is generated into HyperMesh to get a HyperMesh model, the static and dynamic characteristics of engine bracket finite element model are executed. The optimization design of engine bracket was performed with the help of variable density topology optimization algorithm based on OptiStruct module of HyperMesh. The result of comparison between topology optimization and before optimization shows, that the flexibility of improved engine bracket is slightly reduced, the stiffness is increased, as well as first three natural frequencies are improved, and the topological optimization has a instructive significance, and the result of topology optimization provides advising significance and theoretical evidence for subsequent detailed improvements designs |
