The Updated Review of House Supply System and Planning Policy in UK

This article reviews the transition process of planning policy in associate with house supply in contemporary UK, trying to indicate a clear clue of the improvement steps of the system. And the article also gives a brief introduction of the constitution and development process of the house supply system of UK. By comparison with the other western countries, this research analyzes the features of the system and the reasons behind the features as well. Meanwhile, it suggests the characters of the house market in the framework of planning system. As a conclusion, the article draws some experience and lessons from UK＇s house supply system to do benefits on a more complete system of China.
