板坯连铸结晶器电磁制动技术及其应用

摘    要:叙述了板坯连铸结晶器中应用电磁制动技术的发展、研究状况。电磁制动技术可以控制结晶器内钢液的流动,减少结晶器保护渣的卷渣,有利于结晶器内夹杂物的去除,从而提高铸坯质量,并有利于提高铸坯拉速。研究结果表明电磁制动特性取决于板坯宽度、浇铸速度、氩气流速和浸入式水口(SEN)形状等浇铸参数,介绍了各种浇铸参数对电磁制动效果的影响。

Abstract:The present paper reviewed comprehensively the development of electromagnetic brake (EMBR) technique for slab continuous casting mould and its current research conditions.The EMBR can be used to control the molten steel flow, to reduce the entrapment of mould powder, to eliminate nonmetallic inclusions in the mould, and hence to improve the slab quality and increase the casting speed.Results of research show that the braking function of EMBR relies upon such a few casting paramters as slab width, casting speed, argon flow rate and shape of submerged entry nozzle(SEN).The present paper introduced the effect of different parameters on electromagnetic braking function.
