Abstract: | This article proposed an improved Wigner–Hough Transform (WHT) for multicarrier LFM signals of MIMO radars (MIMO-LFM). First, the signal model of the intercepted MIMO-LFM signals and the localisation of conventional WHT for this signal model are analysed. Therefore, we present the new WHT with multiple matching components, which is called as multicomponent WHT (MWHT). Then the detection and parameters estimation performance of MWHT are deduced, and analytical results indicate that MWHT is superior to conventional WHT for MIMO-LFM. In order to reduce the computation cost, a coarse estimation method is introduced. Finally, the numerical simulations demonstrate the validity of MWHT, as well as analytical results. |
