| 摘 要： | 委婉语是一种普遍的社会语言现象和文化现象。委婉语的构成和使用在不同的文化中呈现出不同的特征。文章从英语委婉语独特的语法特征即词的词性和句子的句型结构特征进行阐释，旨在促进英语习得和中西文化交流。

| Abstract: | Euphemism is a universal linguistic and cultural phenomenon. However,its constituents and usage take on various characteristics in the various cultures. By means of the special grammatical features, namely, part of speech and sentence pattern can euphemism be particularly interpreted so as to promote people＇s language acquisition of the second language in China and the cross-culture communication between people in China and in the west. |
