| Abstract: | Issues on the groundwater in urban engineering constru ction have been paid much more attention than ever. Through the engineering prac tices in Beijing area three issues concerning the influence of groundwater to th e determination of design groundwater level,the influence of dewatering to the s urface settlement and the influence of engineering construction to the groundwat er resources and environment are discussed. |
