Abstract: | For the in-depth analysis of transients in a rotating induction motor the method of constant velocity is proposed, which allowed
us to obtain analytical expressions for the currents and electromagnetic torque of the motor when selecting the d-q model as a starting point. The results of the theoretical analysis of transient currents and electromagnetic torque at the
startup of the induction motor with a cage rotor are shown and the influence of the motor rotational frequency on them is
determined. The results of the computer simulation of the induction motor startup confirm the validity of the analysis using
the method of constant velocity. |
