Analysis on Comprehensive Injection Technology for Blast Furnace in Angang

A series of explorations and practice on comprehensive injection technology for a blast furnace in Angang are introduced, including technologies such as injecting lignite, injecting blast furnace dust, adding combustion-supporting agent in pulverized coal, injecting coke oven gas. Advantages and disadvantages of these related technologies are studied based on the laboratory research and industry test. And also the influence of these injection technologies on blast furnace injecting process and changes of the blast furnace condition are investigated. The study results show that some related injection technologies can be applied in ironmaking by the blast furnace, which can also offer some conditions for ironmaking by blast furnace to get better good technical indicators and accumulate some experiences in energy saving, cost cutting and benefit increasing for steel enterprises in China.
