| Abstract: | A new method for synthesizing o \|tolunitrile using o \|toluic acid and urea was studied. The effects of the molar ratio of the reactants, the reaction temperature and time on the yield of o \|tolunitrile were investigated. The optimal technological conditions were obtained. |
