| Abstract: | The procedure of development in metal matrix composites(MMCs) was reviewed.Its excellent properties contain high structural efficiency,well wear resistance,and attractive thermal and electrical characteristics were described.Important MMCs applications in the ground transportation,thermal management,aerospace,industrial,recreational and infrastructure industries were also discussed.Finally,a forward look at the future development of MMCs will be provided. |
