| Abstract: | The investigations were carried out on the effect of foam ceramic filter on the chemical composition and mechanical properties of ductile irons. The results show that the mechanical properties especially the ductility and toughness of ductile iron can be improved by using this filter.On the other hand, the desulphidation effect and the fluidity improvement were also detected. |
