| Abstract: | The cracks detected in steam turbine inlet pipe joints in Yunfu Power Plant is described. Analysis is done from the aspects of material chemical composition, mechanical behaviors, metal photographic structure and electronic mirror image. The characteristic and essential cause of the cracks are determined. Retrofitting schemes are presented. |
